Remember the Ten

At 6:37 p.m. on January 27, 2001, ten members of the Oklahoma State University family perished in a plane crash following a Cowboy basketball game in Boulder, Colorado.  OSU's president made a solemn vow: "We will never forget."  And they have not.

The Ten were remembered in a halftime memorial at last night's game against Texas.  In fitting tribute to the Ten, for the first time ever in Cowboy basketball history, OSU retired a basketball jersey  - the No. 10.

I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free;

I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call;

I turned my back and left it all.
